low-environmental-impact high-quality construction of all of our Homes.

Further, we take great care to protect the appearance, the health, and the
integrity of the parent tree or structure in which we locate our homes.
Hollow Log Homes has evolved from a hobby and passion to protect and
nurture our hollow-dependent wildlife, and, even though it is now a
full-time family business we retain the passion and drive to help and
support our wildlife without succumbing to the temptation of cutting
corners or compromising quality.

that no habitat hollows are used
in the construction of our hollow log homes.
All hollows used in the construction of our homes are either
artificially created from previously felled solid timber or, if
natural, have been obtained from materials which were destined to be
destroyed, for example from burn piles and wood chippers.
Hollow Log Homes use the Habisure™ system to install
nest boxes onto trees. This system allows for at least one-metre
growth in diameter of the tree before adjustment is needed. This
system is non-invasive and provides security of the box in the tree.
Hollow Log Homes nest boxes are built from quality materials, are
thoroughly researched, and all nest boxes have proven success with
target species
